Abstract
Self-adaptation represents one of the main research challenges in Service Oriented Computing. Predictive self-adaptation absorbs attention, by the claims of anticipating actions for reacting to potential changes in the system, over time. Nevertheless, adaptation strategies can also impact differently on the organizational level. Predicting these different impacts in terms of time and cost involved in the adaptation could be useful to enhance the decision-making process in a business strategic/tactic context. This paper presents some of the challenges in predicting the impact of changes in a service-oriented scenario.
