Abstract :
In view of multiple attribute decision making with attribute values in the form of interval numbers, a practical decision analysis approach is proposed in this paper. It is proved that the advantage relation of the alternatives is equivalent to the size relation of the interval median of the attribute interval, Then multiple attribute decision making with attribute values in the form of interval numbers is transformed into the problem with the attribute values which are interval medians, And an information entropy based approach is adopted to rank all the alternatives as well as select the best, Finally, an numerical example is given.
