CFO´s background characteristics will deeply affect their values, intrinsic motivation and behavioral style. With economic globalization and increasingly complex environment of business, CFO plays different roles with the soft functions of financial cube in corporate, and it has a major impact on upgrading of business value. Starting from the CFO´s key characteristics of ability, power and power, the paper discussed its relationship between agency costs and corporate value, and proposed the policy recommendations to reduce agency costs and enhance corporate value.
