Abstract :
An algorithm of constructing planar piecewise cubic TC-Bézier curve with all edges tagent to a given control polygon is proposed. The segmented TC-Bézier curve are shape-preserving to their tagent polygon. The all control points of the TC-Bézier curve segments can be calculated simply by the vertices of the given tagent polygon. A numerical example is given to show effectiveness of the method.
