Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a flux observer design for induction motors. We consider Park´s model of induction motors in the α-β frame, and we assume that the angular speed and the stator currents are measured. The proposed flux observer is an extension (to the multi-output case) of the improved high-gain observer given previously by Busawon et al. (1999). Simulation results are presented to highlight the performance of the observer
