Abstract :
INSTANT (short for INSTalled ANTenna performance) is a ray-tracing software suite designed to predict accurately antenna behaviour, including antenna-antenna coupling, in the presence of conducting bodies, such as aircraft, ships and land vehicles. The new feature described here is the employment of ray refinement techniques from the computer graphics field to improve the precision, reliability and efficiency with which antenna-antenna coupling is computed.
