Abstract :
An improved equalizing scheme to be used in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems in fading multipath channels is presented. The suggested scheme uses a conventional least mean square algorithm with an additional tuning coefficient to speed up the adaptation of the equalizer. The performance of this method is compared with methods that have been used previously with OFDM. For the performance evaluation, a frequency selective fading channel model with an exponential power delay profile is applied
