Abstract
A focused survey of recent voltage sag related papers from around the world is presented. Discussion of these papers emphasizes the possibilities for international standardization on the characterization of sag voltages, and sensitive electronic equipment ride-through to withstand sags. International standards that will result in sag voltage compatibility between power systems and sensitive industrial and commerical electronic equipment, such as adjustable speed drives and programmable logic controllers, are strongly recommended by the author.<>
