Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to use the model to take the reader rapidly from the basic SSM based reasoning for a systems engineering generic model and the design of the core version, through a model for the single system and upwards to platform and scenario levels of the model. It should be noted that the model is also ideally suited to the design of an integrated organisation of systems engineering working groups as a structured inter-related whole. Systems Engineering and its working groups would then share a common model to the advantage of both. The model works for both the hardware and software system itself, and the processes for producing that system. It also fits well, into models of the business enterprise
