Abstract
There have been some methods, such as lengthening signal sequence, choosing an adequate window for DFT, and the zero-padding FFT, to deal with the problem of spectral leakage in DFT spectrum. In the present work, we offer a new method, which aligns harmonics of signals to DFT grid, for resolving the problem. Although it is not so novel, the new method is indeed an alternate to the existing methods including zero-padding FFT because of the possible reduction of computation burden by it.
