Abstract :
The ICEAA - IEEE APWC 2011 Young Scientist Best Paper Award was awarded to Dr. Nicolas Gagnon for the paper "In-depth examination of a 3-layer phase shifting surface (PSS) and its use in a thin Fresnel lens design" co-authored by N. Gagnon, A. Petosa and D.A. McNamara The announcement and presentation of the award were made at the ICEAA - IEEE APWC 2011 banquet on September 14, 2011, where the winner received a certificate and a prize of 800 Euro. ICEAA - IEEE APWC have also awarded a special young scientist recognition to Dr. IGNACE BOGAERT for the paper "Low frequency scaling of the mixed MFIE for scatterers with a non-simply connected surface" coauthored by I. Bogaert, K. Cools, F.P. Andriulli, and D. De Zutter. This recognition consists of a 50% discount on registration at the next ICEAA - IEEE APWC conferences and is worth over 300 Euro. A biography of Nicolas Gagnon is included.
