Abstract :
Based on the description of the non-contact infrared helicopter rotor icing detection system, the paper points out the disadvantages of the system in overcoming the influence of actual flapping and pitching motion of rotor blade through numerous static and dynamic experiments. Then the paper puts forward two methods-the improved DSP algorithm and changing the reflection characteristic of the rotor surface-to improve the performance of the system. The paper then uses experiments to prove that the system has achieved better performance using the two methods.
