Abstract :
This paper takes the emission credit as a key constraint in the fleet planning process. By analyzing the factors affecting aircraft´s emission and predicting the transport capacity demand, a multi-period fleet planning model is built. A dynamic planning algorithm is introduced to obtain the annual fleet updating strategy and fleet allocation with the emission credit constraint considered. For energy conservation and emission reduction, this model provides a constructive scheme for airlines on the dynamic fleet planning decision.
