Abstract
An analytical approach to predict the dynamic and steady-state performance of LLCC-type resonant converters with two outputs operating in the continuous-conduction mode is presented. The approach, based on the principles of harmonic balance and describing function, permits inclusion of component parasitic resistances, converter nonlinearities and mutual inductances between coupled filter inductors in the analysis model. The model accurately predicts converter waveforms, peak currents and voltages, in addition to the dominant ripple components of the output filters. Output voltage-reference voltage small-signal transfer function plots and the influence of parasitic resistances and operating frequency on the stability and dynamics of the converter are shown
