Abstract :
Two improved equivalent circuits have been proposed for aperture-coupled multilayer printed arrays. It has been checked that the undesired back radiated power is modelled by the losses in a transmission line and by the parallel impedances. The second equivalent circuit, which uses only lumped impedances and a lossless transmission line is more convenient for the design of the array feeding network.
