Abstract :
We have investigated a novel design of TSA. In order to avoid losses in the dielectric, the antenna presented here does not contain any dielectric parts. It has only metallic parts. The results of measurements of the antenna discussed show that it may be used in telecommunications and radar as a single antenna or as an element of radiation phased arrays with single and dual polarization. It may be useful especially in high power arrays because of its high electrical durability.
