Abstract :
In dyeing and printing industry, precise detection of fabric edge position and real-time adjustment of the position are required to ensure the successful production process (in dyeing production line). In fabric edge detecting system infrared CCD array image is used to detect fabric edge of the dyeing production line. FPGA is applied to generate CCD timing pulse sequence and central processing unit MCU to adjust the position of the fabric edge. In the system we use OST algorithm and phase permanent magnet synchronous AC servo motor to realize fast real-time inspection of the fabric edge in dyeing and printing industry. The research finding of this system has already been applied in actual high-speed printing and dyeing production line of several factories. The design of this system not only has broken the monopoly of foreign enterprises in this field but also ensures normal production process and product quality. The research finding can also be applied to the production line of textile printing and dyeing, printing, chemical industry, light industry and other industries. It has important scientific significance as well as social and economic significance.
