Abstract
Microstrip patch antennas have become popular for mobile satellite and radio LAN applications. This paper discusses the design and analysis of circular patch antenna operating in the TM020 mode at 5.2 GHz. The antenna has been fabricated on glass-epoxy substrate and measurements have been carried to find its input impedance. Shorting pins have been used to improve its performance.
