Abstract

The Small-Medium Enterprises (SME) are important components of the industrial economy in Wuhan and their rapid development directly concerns the upgrading speed of Wuhan industry. Information construction is an essential track of upgrading development of enterprises. The small-medium enterprises in Wuhan have encountered such issues as funds and IT talents, etc in the information construction. The choice of a suitable information model has become a focus for the small-medium enterprises in Wuhan. So, having analyzed the actual situation of the small-medium enterprises in Wuhan, the paper has analyzed the roles of the Application Service Provider (ASP) model in their information construction and put forward the point that ASP is an ideal model to be chosen in their information construction.
