Abstract :
A general permeance model valid for any gap arrangement is developed. The main advantage is that a single set of measurements performed for an arbitrary gap configuration completely characterizes the core and allows predictions for any other gap arrangement. A method to predict the leakage permeance of a core from its geometry is suggested
