Abstract :
We propose a new and practical direct calibration method for structured light. It need not calibrate the camera intrinsic, extrinsic parameters and structured light systematic parameters. The correspondence between image points and their coordinates in space can be built by taking the image of the calibration board which is coplanar with the structured light. The coordinates of any point in space can be obtained by interpolation according to the known points. By using this method it is easy and direct to realize the real-time calibration of the system on the spot, and the result of measurement is not sensitive to the middle calibration parameters. In this paper, the direct linear and nonlinear interpolation methods are used for interpolation. The experiment shows that the relative errors are less than 1%. At last, a brief analysis of systematic errors is given.
