Abstract
A buck derived power converter which accomplishes clamped zero voltage switching at both turn on and turn off transitions while maintaining low core and conduction losses is described. The converter provides output isolation and can be simply extended to multi-output applications and other-than-buck topologies. The design´s simplicity also makes it an ideal candidate for parallel interleaved multiphase power converters for high density, high frequency applications
