Abstract
With the rapid development of information technology and Internet, the mass data storage of Internet is an urgent problem to be solved. Due to the insufficiency of single NameNode, a new improved data storage method based on HDFS was proposed. In this method, consistent hashing strategy was adopted for metadata allocation; NameNode clusters were built and BLT was used for management of NameNode mapping; log copy was used to achieve data security and consistency. Simulation results showed that the method can effectively improve read and write performance under ensuring metadata´s security, consistency and fault tolerance.
