Abstract :
A crossed disk monopole antenna with elliptical elements was presented and its characteristics were also demonstrated in experiments. It was confirmed that maximum variation in the H-plane was reduced by the proposed crossed disk structure, and the antenna bandwidth was enhanced in terms of radiation pattern by using the elliptical element with b/a=0.723. Return loss characteristics were also affected by ground-plane size.
