  • Abstract
    After 90´s, the Internet has developed fast. Many new applications and businesses based on IP Protocol appear. With the network traffic increasing, network congestion has become the bottleneck that restricts the applications and development of network. In this paper, the congestion control policy based on router -- AQM and RED algorithm is proposed first. Then we build simulation environment to simulate the RED algorithm in network simulator software ns2, get many simulation data and compare with other algorithms like the DropTail algorithm in performance based on analyzing data.
