Abstract
A vector PWM method for three-phase voltage-controlled inverters is described. The so-called minimum-loss vector PWM (MILVPWM) strategy is characterized by the minimum amount of switching losses incurred in the inverter switches. Comparative analysis proving the superiority of the MLVPWM technique over existing vector PWM methods and the results of an experimental investigation are presented
