Abstract :
This paper presents a panel antenna design that can provide dual-linear polarization or dual stant-45 polarization with -12 dB or better cross polarization. The 2:1 VSWR bandwidth is greater than 1.77% and the gain of the antenna presented is approximately 17.5 dBi from 5.6 to 5.7 GHz. The side lobe level and polarization can be adjusted by selecting either a rectangular or diamond configuration, without the need for modification of the critical antenna design parameters. This design should be useful for Unlicensed National Information Infrastructure (U-NII) or HiperLAN applications.
