Abstract :
The threat to air defence system is constantly changing because of the developments in aircraft, weapons and ECM technology. Paralleling the development of the threat there is a development of air defence systems. Advances in fibre optic data processing techniques have made possible to implement the technology in air defence. The purpose of this paper is to survey the signal processing techniques presently implemented in modern air defence and those which are likely to be applied in the future years
