Title :
Using an equivalent feedback control of the residuals for fault detection and identification
Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of fault detection and identification is addressed. The problem is formulated as a control one. The fault signal which is regarded as an input of the system is estimated by a feedback control law, which is designed to compensate the effect of the fault. A Kalman observer is used to estimate the part of the state which is needed for the feedback control
