Abstract :
Intelligent agents are a new paradigm for developing software applications. Currently, agents are the focus of intense interest on the part of many subfields of computer science and artificial intelligence. This paper is focused on the current research work on pervasive health care project. We are developing a health care system that monitors the healthy person in the home and promote health awareness. One of the critical disease monitoring is discussed in this paper. Heart attack is the leading cause of death in every part of the world. More than 60% of heart attack victims experience symptoms before the heart attack occurs. These early symptoms are the key concept in our monitoring system that would alert the patient about his/her medical condition. Our system uses Bayesian network model for inference and Microsoft Agent as human computer interface. The system also illustrates the importance of sensor technology in the home that can assist the patient as per their context environment.
