Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce an algorithm of distributed beamforming for High Speed Railway (HSR) based on the idea of location assistant beamforming. In the new algorithm, the weights are calculated from direction of departure (DOD) of two direct paths since two receive antennas are placed in long distance. The performance of new algorithm with accurate position information and position error under Gaussian and uniform distributions are both evaluated. Simulation results show that distributed beamforming algorithm has better performance and strong robustness against position error.
