Analysis of information and communication Technology Development Index (IDI) in Middle East countries

Information and communication Technology Development Index (IDI) is a composite of three components that measure the level of ICT access, ICT intensity and ICT capability. Middle East countries can evaluate their information societies with IDI. This paper analyses ICT Development index in Middle East countries and evaluates differences among countries (with different levels of ICT development). The research determines how spread out the IDI in Middle East. The paper further evaluates IDI sub-indexes in Middle East countries.
