Abstract :
System models are increasingly being used throughout the development process of a new system. The increased dependence on the models leads to the key question - how accurate are the models? Can the models provide accurate and reliable outputs? Traditional approaches to validation of models are mostly based on subjective expert evaluation. The lack of well-established techniques and methods hampers the development of system models. Thus a new validation approach to system models is recommended and validation levels of system models are presented.
