Abstract :
Recent years have brought about many concerns in object-based video coding. Many recently proposed codecs deal with frame-based video, but not with object-based video. In this paper, we propose a codec called (OVX), which codes object-based video with rate allocation that adapts to the preference of the objects in the scene. The codec also provides format-compliant embedding of background sprite information and object-based encryption.
