Abstract :
A face tracking system based on Gentle AdaBoost (GAB) and Weighted Particle Filter (WPF) are presented in this paper. The proposed algorithm is based on the fact that all the particles can be used, which improves the performance of the face tracking. At the same time, the GAB can be used to correct the tracking system so that the only best face image of someone can be detected. In a word, this paper shows how GAB combines with WPF to achieve a robust face tracking results. The experiment results clearly show the effectiveness of GAB-WPF algorithm in tracking.
