  • Abstract
In the LTE (Long Term Evolution) system [1] [2], the number of antenna ports is implied in BCH by CRC mask (cyclic redundancy check). When terminal obtains MIB, it also needs to correctly detect the number of transmit antenna ports that PBCH [3] uses. Original blind detection method has the problems of time consuming and computational complexity. This paper uses a new method to detect antenna ports. The simulation shows that the method is suitable for real-time systems and has high reliability and simple calculation. The method has been applied to TTCN extension test instrument development.
