Abstract :
The space-time distribution of a pulsed magnetic field in the space within the waveguide-flanges boundary was calculated by the use of a nonuniform divided coil model and numerical method. The magnetic field line configuration was measured experimentally by the patterned iron powder. The results of calculations and measurements were discussed and a problem that should be noticed in the operational design of an intense pulsed electron beam accelerator was pointed out.
