Abstract :
A new small triple-band microstrip patch antenna element is presented. It has been developed to be used in handsets of future multi-standard (GSM1800, UMTS and HiperLAN2) mobile communication systems. A prototype has been designed, fabricated and tested. Good agreement has been obtained between numerical simulations and experimental results.
