Abstract :
An educational program which addresses the problems experienced by medical and technical staff in the use of medical equipment in less developed countries is described. A diploma course in medical electronics and medical equipment management has been designed specifically to offer technical staff the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in the relevant areas with lectures, laboratory assignments and appropriate work experience
