Abstract :
A fast frequency-hopped PLL synthesizer that could generate frequency up to GHz band which is the key to realize a spread spectrum modulation called frequency-hopping (FH-SS) is proposed. This method has no VCO-phase error and its hopping rate is as fast as 1/2 of reference frequency
