Abstract
In this contribution we propose to adopt the exact Green\´s functions of the dielectric slab, assuming the source at finite distance, to evaluate the equivalent currents which are then used in a PO like surface integral procedure to evaluate the scattering from a generically curved stratified dielectric structure. We denominate this technique "true" physical optics.
