Abstract :
In this work, a single slot antenna fed with a microstrip line was tuned over a wide band of frequencies in two ways using a varactor and a photodetector. Both configurations were compared in terms of their frequency agility and bandwidth. These techniques maintain a simple, compact, and low cost antenna structure.
