Micro Assessment SaaS cloud solution

In this paper we present the architecture of a new Micro Assessment (MA) system for “micro knowledge and skills control” that allows the manager to get information and status on knowledge gained on behalf of the employees, on very short status cuts during the working hours, rather than scheduling special meetings with them in order to assess their gained knowledge. This kind of micro testing saves a lot of time, does not cause stress among employees and allows more time to be dedicated for learning. Two studies were undertaken as a part of this paper: study on the “knowledge platform” market and study on the “need for individual and professional upgrades”. Based on the findings it appears that both challenges can be answered by initiating Software as a Service solution for small and medium enterprises built upon “lifelong learning” concept enabled on a Cloud computing architecture. Tools for “lifelong learning” not only enhance individual´s involvement in social issues, but they are also enabling them with competitive skills required at their workplace.
