Abstract :
This paper proposes a new dual band coplanar waveguide fed patch antenna that exploits the inherent property in CPW antennas that they radiate more into the dielectric substrate, by using this radiation to excite a microstrip patch etched on the other side of the substrate. This antenna structure is expanded into a dual band one by using two patch antennas on two stacked substrates.
