Abstract
We have demonstrated that the luminescence properties of CdSe nanoparticles can be manipulated by self-assembled silica photonic crystal. When the emitting wavelength of nanoparticles matches the stop band of photonic crystal, the photoluminescence of the CdSe nanoparticles can be greatly enhanced by up to 5 times, by changing the collection angle of photoluminescence measurements, the photoluminescence intensity of CdSe embedded in photonic crystal can also be controlled.
