Abstract
A monomeric anti-oxidant has been developed for use in underground cable rejuvenation fluids. It chemically bonds into the oligomer formed when the rejuvenation fluid reacts with water in the insulation. Bonding into the oligomer gives the anti-oxidant greater long term stability than molecular anti-oxidants which can migrate out of the insulation over time.
