Abstract :
In this paper the structure of a computer tool that enables the schematic capture, that simplifies the circuital simulation and the layout generation, is analysed. Such a tool was developed in C-Language and it works in X-WINDOW environment. The program was structured in a modular form in order to have more flexibility that allows the expansion of the number of functions that this tool can perform. Finally an example of the design and layout of an Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) is presented
