  • Abstract
    The ROM-based filter concept can be extended to include the complete baseband modulator for an FQPSK transmitter. Using Intel flash memories instead of ROMs, a low-power baseband modulator can be designed with a very small chip count and with the ability to re-program not only for different filter functions, but also for different baseband modulation schemes
