Abstract :
A new VNA based frequency domain propagation measurement technique was presented. This high sensitivity system measures the frequency response of the channel over a wide frequency band or a number of discrete frequency sub-bands, and over large distances in a very short time and produces the data that can be analyzed to obtain the attenuation, frequency de-correlation and other statistical properties of the communication channel.
