Abstract :
RNA relics in this paper are all presently known miRNAs, siRNAs and tRNAs, in reference to RNA rings coming from a primitive genome whose structure has been obtained as solution of a combinatorial variational problem. The consideration of such a reference allows the ordering of RNA relics using some circular distances and the discussion about the plausibility of the proposed primitive genome.
